My passion has always been simple: helping people find hope and stability, no matter where they start. I was born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois, a place that taught me resilience, community, and the importance of uplifting others. At the age of 15, I moved to Mesa, Arizona. My early life experiences, shaped by two very different environments, gave me a unique understanding of the challenges people face and the power of support to transform lives.
My journey of service began in 2015, shortly after earning a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, when I interned with the Fulton County Juvenile Court’s Probation Department. From that first step, I knew my purpose was to be a steady advocate for those navigating some of life’s most difficult moments. Since then, I’ve built a diverse career in case management, working across private agencies, state government, and large nonprofits. I’ve been honored to provide critical services in child abuse and neglect investigations, foster care, probation and parole, federally funded education outreach, and fundraising. These experiences have allowed me to serve individuals and families from all walks of life, always with the goal of providing dignity, resources, and hope. Today, through my work at Intown Cares, I remain deeply committed to walking alongside people as they build the futures they deserve. Every role I’ve held, every community I’ve served, has reinforced my belief that meeting people where they are—with compassion and authenticity—can truly change lives.
