
Intown Cares™ Appoints New Members to its Board of Directors
Business leaders join board, bringing proven financial acumen and operational expertise
to help advance the organization’s mission
ATLANTA – August 19, 2025 – Intown Cares™ today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Amy Jensen, employment attorney, Chick-fil-A; Chris Marinac, director of research, Janney Montgomery Scott; and Marti Wolf, retired human resources executive. Each will serve a three-year term, with the option for renewal.
"It is an honor to welcome these incredible leaders to our Board of Directors,” said Intown Cares Executive Director Brad Schweers. “I look forward to the impact we will make together to advance our mission to prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger for increasing numbers of neighbors in our community.”
About Amy Jensen
Amy Jensen is an employment attorney at Chick-fil-A, Inc., where she provides strategic guidance on a range of employment issues. Prior to going in-house, she practiced management-side employment law at two large law firms for 10 years. Jensen received her law degree from Emory University and bachelor's degree from Berry College.
About Chris Marinac
As director of research at Janney Montgomery Scott, Chris Marinac oversees the firm’s equity research team. Before joining Janney in 2019, he was co-founder and director of research at FIG Partners LLC, a premier investment banking and research firm specializing in community banks. Earlier in his career, he held roles at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wachovia Corporation (formerly Interstate/Johnson Lane Inc.). Marinac has served as a financial expert and resource to global and national media outlets, including American Banker, Bloomberg, CNBC, Financial Times, FOX Business, and The Wall Street Journal. He graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
About Marti Wolf
Marti Wolf is a retired human resources executive with a passion for culture and employee experience. Most recently, she served as the Chief Culture Officer at Mailchimp (now Intuit Mailchimp), where she led teams across human resources, employee experience, recruiting, learning & development, corporate citizenship, and diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging. Wolf began her career in social work, supporting at-risk youth in the juvenile justice system and promoting access to reproductive health, before transitioning into employee benefits, HR, and organizational strategy. Wolf has served on the Board of Directors for MAKERS@, the Advisory Board for ChooseATL, and mentored teens at Moving in the Spirit. She currently volunteers with Fair Fight Action, New Georgia Project, and VoteRiders. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Texas Christian University.
The new appointees join the following current members: Aaron Chaiken (Board Co-Chair), Rebecca Wallace (Board Co-Chair), Kelly Goldston (Board Vice Chair), Alexandra Kirk (Board Secretary), Sunil Ghatnekar (Board Treasurer), Brad Schweers (ex officio), Randall Allen, Lindsey Barranco, Erika Hardy, Timothy Lee, Alex Romeo, Karen Sedatole, Rob Shields, Dara Simmons, and Rev. Sean Smith.
